California on my mind

It's raining. 

It's been raining all day. 

I walked home 20 minutes in the rain with no jacket.

On said walk I decided: California. 

Yes, California. 

Swish it around in your mouth, let it marinate for a minute. 

Yes. California sounds nice. 

In 24 days I will be in Palm Desert soaking up much needed vitamin D and loving cali life with my best friend, Katie. I absolutely cannot wait. I just have this feeling that I won't want to leave.

I wouldn't hate to have some great adventure like moving to warmer weather.

I wouldn't hate it one bit.

Hey Mama

5 awesome things that happened at the Mat Kearney concert

1. Him, in general. I was reminded that night why he is one of my most favorite artists.

2. Getting to be with my family who I've missed.

3. The fact that this was a homecoming show for him. He was born in raised in Eugene and played for a crowd of people but also his Mama (who he pointed to many many times during the show).

4. He sang my favorite song, All I Need. Just him and and piano.

5. He jumped into the crowd and walked right in front of me (video below to prove).

It was a pleasant surprise to me the other day.

So, I got my Peet's Lemon Rose Herbal Tea, and enjoyed myself for a moment.
