fill in the blank saturday ?

1.   I am looking forward to .. Summer, obviously. But more specifically sunshine, warn nights, spending time with my family, going camping, going to the beach, and working!

2.  Something kind of embarrassing that I still love anyway is  .. I feel like I'm the queen of guilty pleasure like keeping up with the kardashians, khloe and lamar, and all those amazing shows on E! But I also really like hello kitty...

3.  My favorite car is ..Range Rovers, Land Rovers, basically luxurious SUVs haha

4.  If I could pick one type of weather to live with for the rest of my life it would be .. September/October weather. It's sunny and warm but crisp.

5.  My favorite thing to do after a bad/stressful day is get in bed and watch friends

6.  This weekend  ..is jam packed! Barn dance, spring game, founders day brunch, and lots of homework!

7.  If I were a color, I'd be  green  because I'm irish and I have green eyes ? And it's just an awesome color.

As I have been blog hoppin' and online shoppin' I have noticed how much emphasis has been put on accessories this season. I love jewelry and of course LOVE my gold boyfriend watch but I have been trying to figure out fun ways to wear them all together. I also have been in the market for a really great clutch.. I'm thinking a cool safari print one.. I had my eye on one from H&M...

 I LOVE this ring. I need to keep my eye out for it ...

I love this BIG clutch. I have a lot of stuff I carry around and I think this just might fit it all.

This is like the best of both worlds. I wish I were in New York soaking up rays on a relaxing infinity pool while gazing at the concrete jungle. Man I love New York.

This weekend gave me a little taste of summer and I couldn't be more happy about it. I got some fun, some freckles, and even saw some flowers sprouting in our garden. I love flowers, especially peonies and am loving these pictures ...

Messy, messy

 1.   Fridays are... Incredible. No class, no alarm clock. 

2.  Jesus, Africa, elephants, sunshine,my family, watching friends, iced tea, my sister .. make me terribly happy.

3.  Something that inspires me is .. THIS    

4.  If I had the day off today I would .. I do have the day off :) But If this were during my week I would say that I would take the day off to SLEEP. I've been needing a mental health day where all I do is lay in bed but I kinda have that today.. lucky me!

6.  Concerning politics I would say... I'm  not as educated as I would like to be.    

7.  I'd like to go to ... ZImbabwe  so I could  see... my friends.

Fill in the blank friday

1.   My favorite daily responsibility is...  being with my young life girls, and being apart of my young life team.

2.  My least favorite daily responsibility is ...Um getting up? Going to class? 

3.  My favorite cuisine to eat when going out is ... stuff I wouldn't normally eat at home! I rarely will order chicken at a restaurant. 

4.  My favorite cuisine to prepare at home is ...well since I don't get to cook my own food living in the sorority I guess it'd have to be anything I get to make when I go home for the weekend. I love making huge salads with all kinds of things in it. My favorite is a salad with lettuce, corn, black beans, diced onions, avocados, and a lemon-y mustard dressing. Trust me, Real Simple never fails me.

5.  Andy Warhol said that everyone is famous for 15 minutes. My claim to fame is ... Getting on the big screen at The PBR rodeo because I was dancing with the rodeo clown. 

6.  If I could have 3 wishes I would wish .. That I could travel without having to pay airfare, especially to Africa, to have a pet baby tiger or lion that never got older, own an elephant... a big one, and we'd be like clifford the big red dog and Emily Elizabeth.

7.  My biggest pet peeve is  ... slow people, people who just don't get stuff, excess bread on a sandwich, people who always need to one up the other person.

How to style scarves

On my guest post from The Money Diaries I talked about how a scarf can change an outfit and make it look new. I posted a picture with a bunch of ways to tie scarves, many of which I use. But I stumbled upon this video from Free People that gives a cool tutorial on some ways to style scarves. There's even a cool head wrap one where you braid your hair into it.. I want to try it !
