I am dying over this dress. It's super unique, I love the pearl detail, the color, and the style. I am kind of sick of seeing plunging neck lines and boobs galore. She looks so beautiful, simple, and elegant. I WANT THIS DRESS.

Jungle Fever

I have had such a void in my heart lately for Africa. I was looking through my old pictures and reminiscing on the amazing summer I had.. boy was I lucky. I also have been missing my favorite little boy Prince. I feel like I have seen so many things that have been Africa inspired and I wanted to share a few. Get ready for many jungle posts to come..

This is anthropologie of London's new home decor spring line. Most of my room is Africa inspired anyway so I loved all these cool new decor pieces.

Day 28 :: One day behind

I'm one day behind everyone else doing their remixes, my fault! Also please excuse my overflowing trash in the background. On a lighter note: on 12 more days of classes until wonderful spring break where all I get to do is sleep and relax. Gotta keep motivated !

Day 27 :: 400th post

This is my 400th blog post, crazy! I wish I had something really profound to say but basically just came to post my day 27 outfit but I'll leave you with this quote I read yesterday that stuck with me :

I have a confession...

I never thought I would ever say this but ... I have Bieber fever. I never was the type to go ape over the kid. I mean I have two of his songs on my ipod but other than that I just thought he was the new generations Justin Timberlake or something. However my opinion changed when I took my young life girls to see his movie on sunday. First thing that I learned was that he has major talent. Seeing old videos from when he was a baby singing perfect pitch and banging on the kitchen table in unbelievable rhythms? It's clear that he was blessed with a gift. He also sold out his concert at Madison Square Garden in 22 minute, ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Second thing I learned, and boy did I, was that this kid is the most charming human being on the planet. There is just something about him that draws you in, you want to know him, you want to like him. Plus seeing him on the cover of rolling stone doesn't hurt. Ahh, to be 16 again ...

Day 25 :: love is in the air

Today we had a surprise engagement for our dear friends Reid and Amber. These two love birds couldn't be more perfect for each other and I feel incredibly blessed to have them in my life. Not only do I learn so much about life from them I also learn more and more everyday about the love that God wants for us in our relationships and marriage. It was fun getting to celebrate with them!

Day 24 :: back from the dead

I'm back baby! 24 hour stomach flu had me down for the count but we're back in business with day 24 and my first top 5 fridays put on by my friend Molly from Urban Nester .

Day 21 :: Never wear TOMS when it's raining

It rained today. It's been such a beautiful winter here that I was not expecting the rain. I wore my TOMS. It rained. It rained on my TOMS. I'm sad, I hope I didn't ruin them. I need to be a better Oregonian and wear better attire.
