Birthday Week

A little something about me: I take birthdays seriously. I always loved my birthday and regardless if I had a good party or good gifts I still like the feeling that that day belonged to me. October 29th. My friend cameron and I decided that because these are the last fun birthday years we needed to figure out how to stretch out our birthday's as long as possible. Here are some tips to make the most of our your birthday WEEK.

1. If you your birthday is during the week, start your celebrating the weekend BEFORE

2. Plan events that are low key and some that are larger so that you can hang out with different groups of friends and get time with everyone.

3. It's your time, do what you want, don't let other pressure you or make you so something you don't want

Pumpkin Patch

Our house went to the pumpkin patch on saturday and it was so fun! Got my big  'ol 15lb pumpkin and some small cute ones for my room. I enjoyed some hot apple cider and honey sticks, perfect fall day!

In lieu of my birthday wish list I also wanted to share some items on my list that go to a great cause. As most of my followers are aware I'm obsessed with TOMS and have taken interest in companies that give back. Two companies that I have been introduced to in the last two years are 31 bits and Krochet Kid. Both of these companies help empower women in Uganda one Hat or Necklace at a time. Some Items that I have been wanting for a while is a piece from the elasticity life from 31 bits and the purple and white Waldo hat from Krochet kids.

Halloween

I love Halloween! It just fits right in with all the things I love about fall, coffee, pumpkin patches, sweaters, boots, fireplaces, coziness, and all hallows eve! Every year (well for the past three years) I dress up as some form of an indian princess whether its Tiger Lily, Pocahontas, or whoever. This year OF COURSE I want to do the same but I think it might be time to try something new. I was thinking of ideas and couldnt come up with that many great idea. Two that are high on my list are: Hello Kitty and a flapper.
